E’ da un pò che non aggiorno la rubrica del “disco della settimana”. Oggi ero indeciso se proporvi il nuovo disco dei Prodigy o un pezzo di Kanye West… alla fine ho optato per il pezzaccio del rapper made in usa.

Flashing Lights è la nona traccia dell’album “Graduation”. Brano di nicchia che ha riscoperto la ribalta grazie all’utilizzo dello stesso in alcune pubblicità famose, tra cui alcune bevande alcoliche, nel gioco Grand Theft Auto IV ed in alcuni telefilm americani. Questo pezzo è stato selezionato negli States come soundtrack nella presentazione della nuova stagione del telefilm Nip Tuck: il trailer della sesta stagione, infatti, è accompagnato dalle note della fantastica “Flashing Lights”.

Ma “Luci Scintillanti” è più di una bella ragazza in un videoclip: nel testo tante sono le immagini che mi colpiscono. Emozioni e noia, libertà e schiavitù, violenza e amore… sentimento:
